You are cordially invited to a lovely evening of poetry reading and writing talk with Pluma Migrant Writers Guild and the award-winning writer, Mohanalakshmi Rajakumar.

Pluma writers will read excerpts from their newly-published chapbook titled No Return Address: A collection of poems. The chapbook reflects on migrants’ experiences as well as contemporary migration issues.

Pluma‘s special guest, Mohanalakshmi Rajakumar, will share excerpts from her novel The Dohmestics, an inside look into compound life, the day-to-day dynamics between housemaids and their employers. Mohanalakshmi Rajakumar is a writer based in Qatar whose novels and essays have won numerous awards.
